Get Started
Download the zip file of the required resources by clicking on the download button.
Steps:
1. Extract the contents of the downloaded zip file to any desired location
2. Open Anaconda Navigator
3. Launch Jupyter Notebook
4. On the Home Page, upload the 'haarcascade' file to the Files section
5. Open a new Python Kernel from the dropdown menu
6. Paste the code from the downloaded 'program code' file into the Kernel
7. Run the Kernel
Requirements:
1. Anaconda Navigator (get it here)
2. Resources folder (download button)
3. Webcam (in-built or external)
We offer two different versions of the program:
1. with a terminal interface and
2. without a terminal interface
The code for both is provided.
Note: On running the program, press the 'Q' button after the emotion is detected to close the program and launch the mood webpage.
